Illumination estimation for nature preserving low-light image enhancement

In retinex model, images are considered as a combination of two components: illumination and reflectance. However, decomposing an image into the reflectance is ill-posed problem. This paper presents new approach to estimate for low-light enhancement. work contains three major tasks: estimation structure-aware initial illumination, refinement estimated final correction lightness in refined illumination. We have proposed novel leveraging multi-scale guided filtering approach. The algorithm refines by formulating multi-objective function optimization. Further, we adaptive adjustment using qualitative quantitative analysis on with varying shows that performs enhancement color constancy preserves natural details. performance comparison state-of-the-art algorithms superiority algorithm.
